Assay Information
An antimouse MCP1 coating antibody is adsorbed onto microwells. Mouse MCP1 present in the sample or standard binds to antibodies adsorbed to the microwells. A biotinconjugated antimouse MCP1 antibody is added and binds to mouse MCP1 captured by the first antibody. Following incubation unbound biotin conjugated antimouse MCP1 antibody is removed during a wash step. StreptavidinHRP is added and binds to the biotin conjugated antimouse MCP1 antibody. Following incubation unbound StreptavidinHRP is removed during a wash step, and substrate solution reactive with HRP is added to the wells. A coloured product is formed in proportion to the amount of mouse MCP1 present in the sample or standard. The reaction is terminated by addition of acid and absorbance is measured at 450 nm. A standard curve is prepared from 7 mouse MCP1 standard dilutions and mouse MCP1 sample concentration determined.

Test
ELISA Enzyme-linked immunosorbent assays Code 90320007 SNOMED,MouseĀ orĀ mice from the Mus musculus species are used for production of mouse monoclonal antibodies or mabs and as research model for humans in your lab. Mouse are mature after 40 days for females and 55 days for males. The female mice are pregnant only 20 days and can give birth to 10 litters of 6-8 mice a year. Transgenic, knock-out, congenic and inbread strains are known for C57BL/6, A/J, BALB/c, SCID while the CD-1 is outbred as strain.
