Assay Information
An antimonkey IL1beta coating antibody is adsorbed onto microwells. Monkey IL1beta present in the sample or standard binds to antibodies adsorbed to the microwells. A biotinconjugated antimonkey IL1beta antibody is added and binds to monkey IL1beta captured by the first antibody. Following incubation unbound biotin conjugated antimonkey IL1beta antibody is removed during a wash step. StreptavidinHRP is added and binds to the biotin conjugated antimonkey IL1beta antibody. Following incubation unbound StreptavidinHRP is removed during a wash step, and substrate solution reactive with HRP is added to the wells. A coloured product is formed in proportion to the amount of monkey IL1beta present in the sample or standard. The reaction is terminated by addition of acid and absorbance is measured at 450 nm. A standard curve is prepared from 7 monkey IL1beta standard dilutions and monkey IL1beta sample concentration determined.
