Assay Information
An antihuman sIL2R coating antibody is adsorbed onto microwells. Human sIL2R present in the sample or standard binds to antibodies adsorbed to the microwells. A HRPconjugated antihuman sIL2R antibody is added and binds to human sIL2R captured by the first antibody. Following incubation unbound HRP conjugated antihuman sIL2R is removed during a wash step, and substrate solution reactive with HRP is added to the wells. A coloured product is formed in proportion to the amount of human sIL2R present in the sample or standard. The reaction is terminated by addition of acid and absorbance is measured at 450 nm. A standard curve is prepared from 7 human sIL2R standard dilutions and human sIL2R concentration determined.

Modern humans (Homo sapiens, primarily ssp. Homo sapiens sapiens). Depending on the epitopes used human ELISA kits can be cross reactive to many other species. Mainly analyzed are human serum, plasma, urine, saliva, human cell culture supernatants and biological samples.
