Assay Information
This human IL10 Enzyme Immunometric Assay (EIA) kit is a complete kit for the determintation of human IL10 in biological fluids. Please read the complete kit insert before performing this assay. The kit uses amonoclonal antibody to human IL10 immobilized on a microtiter plate to bind the human IL10 in the standards or sample. A recombinant human IL10 Standard is provided in the kit. After a short incubation the excess sample or standard is washed out and abiotinylatedmonoclonal antibodyto human IL10 is added. This antibodybinds to the human IL10 captured on the plate. After a short incubation the excess antibody is washed out and Streptavidin conjugated to Horseradish peroxidase is added, which binds to the biotinylated human IL10 antibody. Excess conjugate is washed out and substrate is added. After a short incubation, the enzyme reaction is stopped and the color generated is read at 450 nm. The measured optical density is directly proportional to the concentration of human IL10 in either standards or samples.

Modern humans (Homo sapiens, primarily ssp. Homo sapiens sapiens). Depending on the epitopes used human ELISA kits can be cross reactive to many other species. Mainly analyzed are human serum, plasma, urine, saliva, human cell culture supernatants and biological samples.

Gene
Interleukin 10 (IL-10), also known as human cytokine synthesis inhibitory factor (CSIF), is an anti-inflammatory cytokine. In humans, interleukin 10 is encoded by the IL10 gene. Recombinant. coli interleukin-1o for cell culture or antibody production.
