Assay Information
An antihuman Cytochrome c coating antibody is adsorbed onto microwells. Human Cytochrome c present in the sample or standard binds to antibodies adsorbed to the microwells. A biotinconjugated antihuman Cytochrome c antibody is added and binds to human Cytochrome c captured by the first antibody. Following incubation unbound biotinconjugated antihuman Cytochrome c antibody is removed during a wash step. StreptavidinHRP is added and binds to the biotinconjugated antihuman Cytochrome c antibody. Following incubation unbound Streptavidin HRP is removed during a wash step, and substrate solution reactive with HRP is added to the wells. A coloured product is formed in proportion to the amount of human Cytochrome c present in the sample or standard. The reaction is terminated by addition of acid and absorbance is measured at 450 nm. A standard curve is prepared from 7 human Cytochrome c standard dilutions and human Cytochrome c sample concentration determined.
Properties
E05 478 566 350 170 or Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assays,E05 478 566 350 170 or Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assays,Human proteins, cDNA and human recombinants are used in human reactive ELISA kits and to produce anti-human mono and polyclonal antibodies. Modern humans (Homo sapiens, primarily ssp. Homo sapiens sapiens). Depending on the epitopes used human ELISA kits can be cross reactive to many other species. Mainly analyzed are human serum, plasma, urine, saliva, human cell culture supernatants and biological samples.
