Assay Information
An antihuman Annexin V coating antibody is adsorbed onto microwells. Human Annexin V present in the sample or standard binds to antibodies adsorbed to the microwells. A biotinconjugated antihuman Annexin V antibody is added and binds to human Annexin V captured by the first antibody. Following incubation unbound biotinconjugated antihuman Annexin V antibody is removed during a wash step. StreptavidinHRP is added and binds to the biotinconjugated antihuman Annexin V antibody. Following incubation unbound StreptavidinHRP is removed during a wash step, and substrate solution reactive with HRP is added to the wells. A coloured product is formed in proportion to the amount of human Annexin V present in the sample or standard. The reaction is terminated by addition of acid and absorbance is measured at 450 nm. A standard curve is prepared from 7 human Annexin V standard dilutions and human Annexin V sample concentration determined.
